Job description- Key Account Manager / Area Sales Manager

Location and reporting relationship: Work from Home in multiple locations.

Reports to: CPIC NA General Manager

CPIC operates globally with Headquarters and manufacturing facilities in Chongqing, China, and two additional manufacturing facilities in Bahrain and Brazil.  CPIC offers a broad range of fiberglass products for thermoset and thermoplastic composite materials and structures.

Position Overview:

We are seeking sales professionals for aggressively growing the business. Growth opportunities exist for strong performers.

The ideal candidate will be with proven sales capabilities in the materials industry (preferably Composites), and a commitment to building long-term customer relationships. The incumbent will be expected to bring new customers to the company’s fold while serving existing customers from sales standpoint.

Responsibilities

• Develop and aggressively grow the business.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers
• Maintain strong customer service expectations throughout the customer base area.
• Assist customers with development of new and existing products
• Ability to develop and maintain a strong background in processes utilizing products manufactured by CPIC.
• Prepare detailed sales budgets and forecasts based on changes in the market conditions.
• Determine customer needs and requirements for existing and future CPIC business.
• Coordinate with various departments within the customer organization.
• Coordinate with the Technical personnel in determining effectiveness of existing products and determine needs and requirements for upcoming programs and new product development
• Prepare weekly travel reports, participate in weekly sales and team conference calls, and prepare other reports as needed.

Requirements

• Graduate degree, preferable in science or engineering.
• Demonstrated skills in achieving sales, maintaining profitability, and meeting budget goals in materials industry (preferably composites).
• Strong analytical skills.
• Strong verbal and written Presentation, Negotiation and Communication skills. The ability and interest in working with people.
• High-energy self-starter with ability to perform independently.
• Demonstrated commitment to building strong business relationships.
• Ability to understand entire territory / market segment needs and requirements including Market Dynamics, Competitive Challenges, and Distribution Sales.
• Strong ability to identify technical needs of customers and coordinate well defined meetings with CPIC Technical Representatives
• Promote and Support CPIC’s entire Material Portfolio Value Proposition

Range of compensation

Between USD $80,000-$120,000 PA based on experience and accomplishments
