The Division of Computing is seeking applications for multiple tenure-track faculty positions at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor from candidates with expertise in cybersecurity, including but not limited to the following areas: AI in cybersecurity, Trustworthy AI, Cloud/Container security, Decentralized Identity and Web3 Security, Quantum Computing and Post-Quantum Cryptography, Cybersecurity for Critical Infrastructure, Cyberbiosecurity, Supply Chain security, and Privacy-Enhancing Technologies.
The Division of Computing offers several BS and MS programs along with a recently launched PhD program. Current cybersecurity research includes AI in cybersecurity, Trustworthy AI, Privacy-Enhancing Technologies, Web ?ltering, Cybersecurity for healthcare, Cybersecurity education, Blockchain-enhanced SDN, smart parking security, IoT intrusion
detection systems, anomaly detection, password generation, performance of post quantum cryptography, smart grid security and privacy, and is supported through federal agencies and industry partnerships. Successful candidates will teach undergraduate and graduate courses, shape new programs and course development, mentor students, establish a robust externally-funded research program, and publish in peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings. Startup packages for the successful candidates include generous funding and release time.

Applicants must possess a PhD in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a closely related ?eld by the appointment date. Candidates must show exceptional promise in both research and teaching and are expected to have an appreciation of and commitment to working with the faculty and student body. Applicants for tenured Associate and Full Professor must have academic experience demonstrating excellent teaching in experiential settings and a strong scholarship record, with a history of funded research.
