Review architectural and engineering drawings to determine applicability to the scope of work; prepare technical RFIs to address discrepancies or conflicts in design documents. Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates using industry-standard construction software. Lead vendor sourcing and quote analysis for construction materials and services based on engineering specifications and project requirements. Oversee the preparation of competitive bids and technical proposals; ensure alignment with structural requirements, construction methods, and client objectives. Assign potential projects to Project Managers to work on bids and approve proposals to be submitted to the clients. Direct all phases of construction projects, including planning, engineering coordination, permitting, procurement, and execution. Prepare detailed scopes of work, negotiate subcontracts, and ensure technical compliance with project specifications and schedules. Supervise subcontractors and labor teams, ensuring that site execution aligns with civil engineering plans and safety standards. Conduct weekly trade partner coordination meetings to resolve technical and logistical challenges. Utilize advanced construction platforms (e.g., Procore, Plangrid, OpenSpace) to manage documentation, scheduling, and field communication. Review and approve engineering designs, structural calculations, and shop drawings from internal and external teams. Evaluate constructability, cost-effectiveness, and site-specific application of technical solutions before implementation. Monitor and enforce construction quality control in accordance with industry codes, local regulations, and project specifications. Develop integrated project schedules and cash flow projections using critical path methods and engineering resource allocation models. Conduct risk assessments related to structural design, labor capacity, material availability, and regulatory factors. Prepare comprehensive budget analyses; track cost-to-complete forecasts to maintain profitability and schedule adherence. Manage and mentor a team of project managers, engineers, superintendents, coordinators and foremen assigned to multiple simultaneous construction projects. Lead internal training sessions on construction standards, software platforms, and engineering best practices. Provide strategic guidance on design-build integration, schedule compression, and lean construction methods. Review and submit Change Order Requests and Field Work Directives; analyze financial impact and obtain stakeholder approvals. Negotiate contracts and procurement terms with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure cost-efficiency and scope compliance. Maintain financial controls through regular performance reporting and variance analysis. Maintain detailed records for all project phases, including permits, inspection reports, technical correspondence, and regulatory approvals. Coordinate across engineering, architectural, and client teams to align project goals, resolve conflicts, and ensure stakeholder satisfaction. Ensure compliance with OSHA and all relevant safety, building, and environmental codes. Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement through site leadership and proactive risk mitigation strategies.

Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or foreign equivalent plus 1 year of experience in a project management role with construction projects.
