HBW Solutions, Inc. is seeking to fill the position of Senior Project Manager in its Petersburg, Indiana office to lead and manage industrial CAPEX projects in a manufacturing environment. The role involves applying principles of engineering, project and contract management, financials and risk analysis, to develop and improve the manufacturing processes of a variety of products. The specific responsibilities are as follows:
Responsibilities
Deliver projects considering scope, schedule, budget, and quality, while reducing risks.
Use a structured project methodology focused on compliance with clients’ policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Writing project proposals using a business case approach identifying future process improvements and efficiencies and return of investments.
Monitor performance of process equipment and identify areas of improvement.
Troubleshoot process problems and recommend corrective action plans when needed.
Establish best practices for process optimization, quality control, safety standards, etc.
Maintain effective communication with project team and stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations.
Maintain up to date knowledge on the latest technologies related to process engineering and project management.
Prepare reports on project progress, goals achieved, and other important information related to process engineering projects.
Up to 30% travel required.
BS in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Biological Engineering or related field; and
60 months (post BS degree) of work experience leading capital project delivery, leading teams of engineers, managing workflow, managing timelines, delegating, in the pharmaceutical or life science industries, specifically including the following:
Twelve months of experience using Good Manufacturing Practices; understanding safety and quality of products that GMP guideline and regulation address are the following:

Building and facilities
Equipment
Raw materials
Personnel
Validation and qualification
Complaints
Documentation and recordkeeping
Inspections & quality audits
Twelve months of experience managing project's schedule, cost, quality, safety, scope, and function
Twelve months of experience using CAD Software and project management software
Twelve months of experience using process control systems and instrumentation
Twelve months of experience in safety regulations and industry standards
Twelve months of experience leading teams of engineers
