The Senior level Controls Engineer is responsible for:
Working independently, as part of a project team, or leading a team of Engineers to complete more complex projects.
Adhering to and leading others in regard to both client and department-established procedures and workflows.
Development of subject matter expertise in multiple control system platforms, per management direction.
Performing as a technical lead for assigned projects.
Managing quality of deliverables on assigned projects.
From a technical aspect, Controls Engineers will work on various stages of automation and control projects including control hardware and panel design, PLC programming, HMI design, Vision systems, SCADA systems, troubleshooting/testing/debugging, and related project documentation and deliverables.
Knowledgeable and experienced with implementing and maintaining a variety of PLC/SCADA/HMI-based systems which could include Rockwell/Allen Bradley, Siemens, Schneider, GE, etc.
Knowledgeable and experienced with implementing different Robotics and related vision systems.
Adhering to all applicable NEC, NFPA 79, UL, OSHA, and any other safety standards related to project subject matter (of the customer and of ATS).
This is a unique position in the controls space requiring experience in:
Comprehensive Siemens knowledge, specifically as it relates to the PLC/HMI environment.
Experience with Rockwell, Schneider, and/or other PLC/HMI vendors.
