As an Injection Molding Process Engineer, you will play a key role in leading the injection molding process within the manufacturing environment. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Providing support to Process Technicians, optimizing molding processes, spearheading continuous improvement initiatives, and offering manufacturing support where needed.
Developing, evaluating, improving, and documenting manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and quality.
Technical training on cutting edge technology and ownership of teaching the knowledge to other technical employees.
Directing and/or monitoring the execution of the Production Schedule with the Production Manager.
Trialing new tooling and equipment and make modifications as needed to meet quality and Production goals.
Additionally, your role will involve providing engineering expertise in manufacturing to troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that may arise. Your contributions will be crucial in ensuring that the injection molding process operates smoothly and meets the required standards.
Working closely with the manufacturing team, you will analyze process data, identify areas for enhancement, and implement solutions to drive operational excellence. You will be responsible for maintaining up-to-date documentation of processes and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve production goals. The role will also involve staying informed about industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in injection molding processes to continuously refine and enhance operations.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
Proven experience in injection molding process optimization
Knowledge of Scientific Molding principles
Experience in an ISO certified environment (preferred)
Experience with IQMS or other MRO software (preferred)
