Graduate Engineer (Multiple Positions) Public Works - Engineering Division
Graduate Engineers perform technical civil engineering work in the planning, design, and construction of public infrastructure projects. Responsibilities include preparing engineering plans and reports, conducting field inspections, reviewing development proposals, and assisting with traffic, utility, and street improvements. This position works under the supervision of licensed engineers and collaborates with other departments, consultants, and the public to ensure projects meet technical standards and community needs.

Pay: The starting salary range is $82,338 - $96,868 per year, depending on qualifications with advancement to $121,086.

Education and Experience A Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or closely related field from an accredited four-year college or university.
Licenses and/or Certifications Valid Driver's License Engineer in Training (EIT) certification
Desirable Qualifications
A minimum of two (2) years of experience in municipal engineering or related field.
Minnesota Professional Engineer License, or ability to obtain within two years.
Demonstrated project management and/or construction management experience. ?
Experience with surface water modeling, such as hydraulic/hydrologic and water quality models. ?
Experience with pavement management modeling, such as pavement condition, deterioration, and maintenance strategies, and budget scenarios.
Experience with specialized design software such as Civil 3D, XPSWMM, and HydroCAD.
Experience using traffic simulation software such as Synchro, SimTraffic, VISSIM, or similar.
