- Work as a team member in the Product Engineering Department that provides technical support to over 65 precast concrete manufacturing plants across the United States.

- Design engineered concrete products, including precast concrete structures, concrete pipe, manholes, box culverts, vaults and other concrete items according to specifications.

- Prepare fabrication drawings and structural calculations, product estimating and shop drawing creating and review.

- Work closely with contractors, government agencies, managers, sales team and operations.

- Participate in project meetings and conferences as required.

- Effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including management and customers.

- Education / experience: B.S. in Civil Engineering

- P.E. or ability to obtain P.E within a few years of hire date.

- Prior experience with precast concrete structures, state DOT projects, or water/wastewater treatment projects is a plus.

- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in construction or precast industry.

- Proficient in interpreting project plans and specifications.

- Knowledge of building construction, application of precast and prefabrication building products, construction details and relevant specifications, regulations and quality standards.
