Trident Maritime Systems is seeking experienced Forging Operators specializing in open-die forging to join a High-Production Manufacturing facility located in Scenic High Bridge NJ, driving distance from both New York and Pennsylvania. Responsibilities
Operate and maintain 3000 & 6000 Ton forging presses, manipulators, and industrial furnaces.
Perform open-die forging with adherence to engineering blueprints and material specifications.
Ensure precision material forming, press calibration, and tooling adjustments for optimal production.
Execute heat treatment processes such as tempering and quenching for metallurgical integrity.
Conduct quality control inspections to ensure compliance with manufacturing and industry standards.
Maintain a safe and efficient workflow in a high-heat, high-noise industrial setting.
Compensation & Benefits:
Hourly Pay: $32+ per hour (based on experience).
Overtime Pay: 1.5x hourly rate when applicable.

Key Qualifications
Mandatory: Proven experience in Open-Die Forging.
Minimum 3 years of forging experience in heavy manufacturing or metalworking.
Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints, routing sheets, and technical drawings.
Proficiency in press calibration, tool changes, and material handling.
Strong knowledge of heat treatment processes (tempering, quenching) and material properties.
Experience working in a high-temperature, high-noise production environment.
Preferred: Forklift and heavy equipment operation experience.
Education and/or Experience
Previous experience in a manufacturing or metalworking environment.
Familiarity with advanced machine maintenance procedures.
Courses in metalworking, machining, or industrial technology from a technical school or community college.
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or metalworking environment, with a focus on forging.
Work Schedule & Environment
Shift: Seeking 1st/day and 2nd/night Shift
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
Frequent standing, bending, and operating heavy machinery.
Working in a high-heat, high-noise industrial environment
