Trident Maritime Systems is seeking experienced Forging Operators specializing in open-die forging to join a High-Production Manufacturing facility located in Scenic High Bridge NJ, driving distance from both New York and Pennsylvania. Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain 3000 & 6000 Ton forging presses, manipulators, and industrial furnaces.
• Perform open-die forging with adherence to engineering blueprints and material specifications.
• Ensure precision material forming, press calibration, and tooling adjustments for optimal production.
• Execute heat treatment processes such as tempering and quenching for metallurgical integrity.
• Conduct quality control inspections to ensure compliance with manufacturing and industry standards.
• Maintain a safe and efficient workflow in a high-heat, high-noise industrial setting.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Hourly Pay: $32+ per hour (based on experience).
• Overtime Pay: 1.5x hourly rate when applicable.

Key Qualifications

• Mandatory: Proven experience in Open-Die Forging.
• Minimum 3 years of forging experience in heavy manufacturing or metalworking.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints, routing sheets, and technical drawings.
• Proficiency in press calibration, tool changes, and material handling.
• Strong knowledge of heat treatment processes (tempering, quenching) and material properties.
• Experience working in a high-temperature, high-noise production environment.
• Preferred: Forklift and heavy equipment operation experience.

Education and/or Experience

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or metalworking environment.
• Familiarity with advanced machine maintenance procedures.
• Courses in metalworking, machining, or industrial technology from a technical school or community college.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or metalworking environment, with a focus on forging.

Work Schedule & Environment

• Shift: Seeking 1st/day and 2nd/night Shift
• Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Frequent standing, bending, and operating heavy machinery.
• Working in a high-heat, high-noise industrial environment
