Trident Maritime Systems is seeking experienced Forging Operators specializing in open-die forging to join a High-Production Manufacturing facility located in Scenic High Bridge NJ, driving distance from both New York and Pennsylvania. Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain 3000 & 6000 Ton forging presses, manipulators, and industrial furnaces.
- Perform open-die forging with adherence to engineering blueprints and material specifications.
- Ensure precision material forming, press calibration, and tooling adjustments for optimal production.
- Execute heat treatment processes such as tempering and quenching for metallurgical integrity.
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure compliance with manufacturing and industry standards.
- Maintain a safe and efficient workflow in a high-heat, high-noise industrial setting.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Hourly Pay: $32+ per hour (based on experience).
- Overtime Pay: 1.5x hourly rate when applicable.

Key Qualifications
- Mandatory: Proven experience in Open-Die Forging.
- Minimum 3 years of forging experience in heavy manufacturing or metalworking.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints, routing sheets, and technical drawings.
- Proficiency in press calibration, tool changes, and material handling.
- Strong knowledge of heat treatment processes (tempering, quenching) and material properties.
- Experience working in a high-temperature, high-noise production environment.
- Preferred: Forklift and heavy equipment operation experience.
Education and/or Experience
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or metalworking environment.
- Familiarity with advanced machine maintenance procedures.
- Courses in metalworking, machining, or industrial technology from a technical school or community college.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or metalworking environment, with a focus on forging.
Work Schedule & Environment
- Shift: Seeking 1st/day and 2nd/night Shift
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
- Frequent standing, bending, and operating heavy machinery.
- Working in a high-heat, high-noise industrial environment
