Electrical Engineer
Expert Technical Solutions is seeking an Electrical Engineer for an exciting opportunity with
an employee-owned, ENR-Ranked Top Design firm.
This role will be based out of their Greenville, SC location.
The Electrical Engineer independently manages all phases of electrical development and
equipment design for moderate projects. They will apply independent judgment to
evaluate, select, and adapt standard design criteria, and will also investigate variables and
review the work of less experienced engineers.
Responsibilities:
• Perform the layout, analysis, and design of the electrical engineering scope of work
for industrial projects.
• Perform quality checking procedures on Electrical Engineering work performed by
others.
• Work with and understand core design basis documentation (i.e., P&IDs, General
Arrangements, Equipment List, etc.)
• Lead a small staff of designers and possibly junior engineers.
Requirements:
• 10+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent working
knowledge/experience)
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering
• P.E. License in South Carolina or the ability to obtain quickly
• Ability to design and develop electrical documentation, including:
o Electrical Equipment Specifications and design for Motor control Centers
(MCCs), Switchgear, and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).
o Electrical Plan Drawings (Power, Lighting, Grounding, etc.)
o Electrical Schematics (Single line diagrams, Motor Schematics,
Interconnection diagrams, etc.)
o Design Calculations
• Experience with Power System Studies (SKM, ETAP) - preferred
• Proficiency in utilizing various computer software packages including AutoCAD and
the Microsoft Suite
