Are you an experienced engineer passionate about transportation safety and system operations? Join the City of Bothell’s Public Works Department as our next Transportation Operations Engineer and take the lead on critical safety projects and the daily management of traffic signals and intelligent transportation systems.

What will you do in this position?
Perform complex engineering tasks in the design, review, implementation, and delivery of transportation safety projects under general supervision.
Facilitate the daily operation of multiple transportation systems and programs independently.
Manage a subset of responsibilities including project management, problem-solving, engineering design, and design review.
Oversee traffic modeling, planning, and operations of traffic signals and intelligent transportation systems.
Lead the work of interns, technicians, engineers, and consultants as needed.
A successful candidate in this position will:
